Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, 56, suffered a medical incident while attending the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game at Madison Square Garden on Monday, March 17.
Witnesses reported that Morgan appeared unwell, with some claiming he vomited and others mentioning a bloody nose. A widely circulated image showed the 30 Rock star appearing to vomit onto the floor, while a video captured him being escorted out in a wheelchair, holding a towel over his face.
The game, which ended with a 116-95 Knicks victory, was delayed for approximately 10 minutes due to the incident.
A Madison Square Garden spokesperson expressed well wishes, stating, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” However, Morgan’s representatives have not yet released an official statement.
Morgan, who has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010, has faced serious health challenges before. In 2014, he survived a devastating car accident when a speeding Walmart truck struck his limo, leaving him in a coma for two weeks. The crash claimed the life of his friend and mentor, James McNair.
Despite his past struggles, Morgan remains resilient. Just last month, he celebrated Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary, expressing gratitude for his survival: “Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident and I’m alive to be here for this.”
As fans and celebrities send their support, the entertainment world hopes for a speedy recovery for the beloved comedian.
